This is your place, too.

Newcastle has changed a lot over the years. Today, it is more diverse than ever, with people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs. Individually, we may be very different but, together, we call Newcastle home. As the region continues to grow, we want to make sure that you feel able to grow with it and are a valued part of our vibrant community.

That’s why we’re asking you to take our simple, anonymous survey, where you can tell us about what community means to you, and how you feel connected to the people you share our great city with. This will help us create an important framework for City of Newcastle called the ‘Local Social Strategy’, allowing us to respond to what you’ve told us your needs are, with real and meaningful action.

Together, let’s make sure the future Newcastle is a place for everyone.

Meet Your Locals

We asked a diverse range of people living in Newcastle about their connection to the city they call home and the community they’re a part of. Click below to see their stories.
